Bitcoin multi-sig workshop
The bitcoin multi-sig presentation starts with a theoretical look at the existing problems and difficulties of self-custody and the existing wallet types. Then looks at what multi-sig is and dives deep into the concept of “fault tolerance”. We look at the different hardware + software risks and how to mitigate them in single-sig. Following that we take a deeper look at multi-sig and its infamous output descriptor. We also touch on different software and hardware solutions in the land of multi-sig and convey much has changed in the past 5 years. To close off it’s demo time where every participant will create a multi-sig wallet in a couple of minutes. Note this is a DEMO wallet and no funds should be sent there. Of course we also look at receiving, sending and recovering the multi-sig wallet. To finish we quickly touch on advanced multi-sig features with expanding and decaying wallets through timelocked keys.
