THE DEVICE
Seedsigner Premium, black aluminium
A stateless, air-gapped signer in a CNC-milled aluminium case, with the thumbstick and buttons of the premium layout. The unsigned transaction goes in through the camera, the signed one comes back out on the screen, and nothing is left on the device once the power is gone.
THE BOX
Somewhere to keep the whole thing
A Faraday box shields whatever is inside it from radio signals. Here it also does the plainer job: it is where the device, the cable, the power bank and the card live between uses, in one place instead of four drawers.
LEARN FIRST
Practise on a seed that is not yours
A demo seed is included so your first fumbling run happens on a key that holds nothing. Load it, walk the menus, sign something, back it up as a SeedQR, get it wrong once. Never send bitcoin to it. When you want to rehearse a full multisig, the browser simulator and our signet let you do it with real confirmations and no cost.

Questions
Which version of the premium is inside?
The listing says Seedsigner Premium, black version, and it does not say which revision. We would rather tell you that than guess. If the revision matters to you, buy the premium v2 on its own page instead.
Blank SD card, or pre-loaded?
Pre-loaded boots the moment you power it up. Blank is for people who would rather download the image from the SeedSigner project themselves, check it and flash it. Either way the check is worth doing, and verify.bitsaga.be does it in your browser without a terminal.
What is the demo seed for?
Practice, and nothing else. It exists so that the first time you fumble a menu, it is not with the key that holds your savings. Treat it as worthless and never send bitcoin to it.
Is my seed stored on the device?
No. A SeedSigner is stateless: the seed sits in memory only while the device has power, and it is gone when you unplug it. What you have to keep safe is the backup, not the device.
Is this a good gift?
