The community SeedSigner in a precision CNC-milled aluminium case. This is the new V2 build: spring-loaded SD card slot, optimised camera, tighter and more solid, with a microSD card included so it runs the day it lands.
THE CASE
Milled from a solid block
A precision CNC-milled aluminium enclosure, with an aluminium thumbstick and buttons to match. Inside sit off the shelf parts: a Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3 without WiFi, a Waveshare 1.3 inch LCD hat, a Zerocam mini camera behind a glass cover, on shortened hand-soldered low-profile gold pin headers.

Rebuilt where it mattered
This is the new V2 version: a spring-loaded SD card slot, an optimised camera, and an even tighter, more solid build than the one it replaces. The component list has not changed. The assembly has.
STATELESS
Nothing left on it to take
There is no private key stored on the device. It scans a seed in QR form, holds it in memory while it has power, signs, and forgets. You can leave it on the desk. What you have to keep safe is the backup, not the box.
AIR-GAPPED
In through the camera, out through the screen
The Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3 at the heart of it is the version with no WiFi and no Bluetooth. An unsigned transaction arrives as a QR code you scan. The signed one leaves as a QR code on the screen. Your keys never touch a networked machine.

Leave a colour preference in the order notes and we follow it where we can. By default we ship whatever we hold most of. The aluminium case is not available separately. A Seedfan steel backup, single sig or the 3x steel kit for multisig, and an hour of setup guidance can be added when you order.

Questions
What is different about the V2?
A spring-loaded SD card slot, an optimised camera, and an even tighter, more solid build. It also ships with a microSD card, where the earlier premium does not. The hardware list is otherwise identical.
It comes with a card, so do I still have to verify the firmware?
You should. The card means it runs out of the box, and you can still download the image from the SeedSigner project yourself, check it and flash it again. verify.bitsaga.be does the check in your browser: drop the file onto the page and it compares the SHA-256 against the hash the project published. Nothing is uploaded, and we host no firmware.
Where do I pick the bundle or the guidance hour?
On the ordering page. Those two choices live in a WooCommerce picker we do not reimplement here, so the button on this page takes you there rather than quietly adding the plain version to your cart.
Can I choose the colour?
Leave your preference in the order notes. We follow it where stock allows, and by default we ship the colours we hold most of. The aluminium case is not sold on its own.
Can I try one before buying?
Yes, and it costs nothing. The real firmware runs in a browser tab at bitsaga.be/seedsigner-simulator, so you can walk the menus, load a seed, export an xpub and sign a transaction first. Pick the stock firmware for this model, and use a public test seed, never one of your own.
