AIR-GAPPED BITCOIN SIGNING
The original SeedSigner layout in a precision CNC-milled aluminium case, assembled and ready except for the microSD card. You download the firmware, verify it, flash it and put it in.

THE CASE
A precision CNC-milled aluminium enclosure with an aluminium thumbstick and buttons. Inside: a Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3 without WiFi, a Waveshare 1.3 inch LCD hat, a Zerocam mini camera behind a glass cover, on shortened hand-soldered low-profile gold pin headers.

STATELESS
No private key is stored on the device. It scans your seed in QR form, keeps it in memory only while it has power, signs, and forgets. The thing you have to keep safe is the backup you scanned in, not the device itself.

AIR-GAPPED
The key component is the Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3, the version with no WiFi and no Bluetooth. Everything moves as QR codes: the unsigned transaction in through the camera, the proof of signature back out on the screen, read by your phone or laptop.

YOUR OWN CARD
No microSD card is included. Download the latest SeedSigner image from the project, verify it, flash it to a card and insert it. That is one more step than the v2 asks of you, and it is the step that puts you rather than us at the end of the trust chain.

HONESTLY
This is the earlier premium build. The v2 costs a little more, includes the card, and adds a spring-loaded card slot, an optimised camera and a tighter assembly. Take this one if you already flash your own cards and do not need those revisions. If you want metal and this is your first SeedSigner, take the v2.

“Offline, air-gapped and stateless. Three plain reasons there is nothing here to take.
A microSD card and about ten minutes. Download the latest SeedSigner image from seedsigner.com or the project's GitHub, verify it, flash it to the card, and insert the card.
Drop the file onto verify.bitsaga.be. It computes the SHA-256 in your browser and compares it against the hash the project published. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked, and we host no firmware: the download button sends you to SeedSigner's own GitHub.
If you want metal and this is your first one, take the v2: it includes the card, the SD slot is spring-loaded, the camera is optimised and the build is tighter. Take this one if you already flash your own cards and the revisions do not matter to you.
No. It sits in memory while the device has power and is gone when you unplug it. If the device is lost or taken, there is no key material on it to extract.
No. The case is not available separately.

Assembled, milled, and waiting on the one card you bring yourself. Try the firmware in a browser tab first, verify what you flash, then power it up.
