Open and Transparent Secure Element
Safe 7 introduces the TROPIC01 secure element — a fully auditable chip that can be independently reviewed by security experts. It works alongside an additional EAL6+ secure element to strengthen physical and cryptographic protection.
Quantum-Ready Foundations
The device’s architecture is designed to support post-quantum cryptographic updates for internal processes such as firmware authentication and boot verification. This does not make the wallet “quantum-proof” for blockchain cryptography itself but positions it for future security enhancements.
Isolation of Keys
Private keys remain inside the secure element. Signing and sensitive operations require explicit confirmation on the device’s screen.
